When I showed this to my mom, she said it's just like Pixar Pal-A-Round at Disney California Adventure. Sad this is out of stock right now, but hopefully it'll be back soon because I have to replace the kit for my Ferris Wheel after the wires broke from the box that got unstuck from the center of the wheel

Hmm that's a tough one-- we worked to create something that really had nothing else like it in the market. I wish we could have continued producing them but the chips we use in the controller boards are no longer available.

We order the models from 4D Systems. You need to purchase their proprietary development tool to program the screen. You can find out more on their website, 4dsystems.com.au/.
Can you hook up sounds to play with the display?
Unfortunately, no, this player does not have sound capability.
cool - how do you get the signal to the display
It's all self-contained on the screen itself-- video, processor, etc.

@@dingdongrocket Not a stupid question at all! We render it in After Effects, then export the video into the coding environment for the screen (provided by the screen vendor), the coding tool converts it for the screen, then you load the code onto an SD card which gets inserted into the slot on the back of the screen. All you need then is power, and the onboard processor plays the video.

@@dingdongrocket Yes, MicroSD. No real size limit to the video, though it does have to be processed through the company's development tool and re-formatted.

if you have pfx or sbrick, you do not need this complete system. leds are enough if i am correct. (just have to program the units.) would be 2 x the same sort of system for the same process.
For PFx, this is correct. For SBrick, this controller works with the SBrick signals and does more than SBrick can do, and requires less SBrick ports (and thus is lower-cost).

Can someone put a link to a site for the lights? I REALLY need blue blinking lights (exactly like the ones on the ambulance) for my custom SWAT car. The 1:03 part of the video is exactly what I need.

@@i.oguard3142 Well we've gone through multiple product versions since this video was made, and the latest design will offer more features than the lights you're seeing in the video, so in the end it'll be a better system.

I’m in love with this very complex lighting kit, couldn’t wait to get my hands on it... too bad they are sold out and the website claims they will be in stock during may but we already past may. So when will they be in stock again this time around?
Hi, sorry for the confusion on the site. We need to get that updated! We are aiming to have more in stock by the end of July. There have been some global parts shortages that have made it harder to get some of the parts we use in our kits but we're working to get everything we need to release more!
